HOLIDAY PARTY - 2008
Did you bring your snow shovel?
Was postponed from December 21st to December 28th because of a fairly fierce snow storm that dropped about five inches of snow on Cheshire
So these pictures will be coming next week!
But... What do you do when you have a Historical Society House all decked out for the Holiday Party and it SNOWS! Well, of course we postponed officially to be cautious and safe. AND THEN WE HAD...
A SNOW PARTY!
Here are photos from December 21st when as long as everything was set up and looked so nice anyway...
The old woman who lived in a shoe was able to stop by with her six children. She had some of Ed Kania's Egg Nog with extra Nutmeg on top. She said that was sooo good! The kids had cookies.
Mary Ellen was able to offer the family accomodations in either the Holiday Cupboard or in the Gingerbread House.
Mrs. Shoe thought the Gingerbread house was a bit more cozy and private so they'll be staying there until next week.
A few brave souls made it in, claiming the roads weren't really that bad!
