1986 - HISTORIC RESOURCE INVENTORY

BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES

82 PROPERTIES IN CHESHIRE CONNECTICUT

Photo below is of the Hitchcock-Phillips House taken for the 1986 Survey

January 2008 - Almost a quarter of a century ago, HISTORIC RESOURCES INVENTORY Building and Structures forms were compiled for 82 properties in Cheshire Connecticut. These were compiled by Bruce Clouette and Matthew Roth, Historic Resource Consultants (Hartford, CT) in March 1986. Photographs of these 82 Cheshire Connecticut properties were taken by this same group in November 1985. Each property inventory includes identification (including the historic name) and description of the site, a brief write up of the notable features of the building or site, another write up of the historical or architectural importance, source information, and a small black and white photograph.

The Cheshire Historic District Commission has begun a project to update these records, initially by taking a recent (2008) photo of each property. More information about this important project will be available soon.

By clicking on the address listed below, you will download a PDF file that contains a range of up to 10 properties. Scroll through this document until you find the address you wish to review.
